UFEZ Launch
The successful launch of the United Federation of Employers Zambia took place on Thursday the 6th of April 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Lusaka Society Business Park. Watch the media coverage (video) to learn more about the event.
The Honourable Minister of Labour & Social Security Ms Brenda Tambatamba officially opened and launched the Federation in a speech read by the Assistant Labour Commissioner Ms Mukamusole Mundale Kasanda.
Other notable invited guests were the President of Federation of Free Trade Unions of Zambia Mr Chingati Msiska, President of the Association of Higher Learning Institutions Dr. Mtesa, Zambia Union of Financial Institutions and Allied Workers General Secretary Mr. Kasapo Kabende, Director Human Resources National Pension Scheme Authority Ms Agness M. Chiyasa and other dignitaries from the University College of Health Sciences (UNICHOS).
The International Labour Office (ILO), Lusaka and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) sent apologies.
